DEATH TO STILL LIVES

Everyone needs at least one still life of some fruit in their portfolio. I despise doing still lives because they bore me to death even though they are extremely necessary. I decided to depict the typical still life fruit bowl on fire because it truly capture my feelings towards the subject. I did this as an airbrushed print on a t-shirt because it is the complete opposite direction of typical fine art still life work. The placement of the print gives the piece an ironic feeling.
