DINO-MITE

I did this piece because I needed to do a still life. My subject matter was some toys that I have set up in my room for decoration. I chose to do the full piece in gel pen on black paper so the colors really popped. I believe the focal point of the piece is the mouth of the dinosaur. The contrast of the colors against the black paper gives the piece a neon effect. This was the most painful piece to create because doing the scales as individual dots took forever, but it was worth it.
